Surrealist art takes the form of exceeding the audience’s experience and cognition, as being in a high-dimension space to survey our world. The famous philosopher Feuerbach once said: “If the idea of God was created by birds, then God must be an animal with feathers.” This is a good way to illustrate that all the shapes, objects, colours, and movements we see are all constructed by our own, interacting with the “reality”; thus consciousness came into being within the logic of “what we thought”, “how it should be”, and “follow the rules”. This series of jewellery visualize consciousness in an optical illusion that attempts to answer these questions, challenging the audience’s pervasive inertia and inherent ideas about jewellery design.
